REVIEW: fresh 'Soy Face Cleanser'

     I had the oddest experience the other day.

I like many others, are quite strict when switching up their skin care routine. But once in a blue moon it is fun to try new things.

     The other day I decided to try Fresh's 'Soy Face Cleanser'

I decided to buy this instead of my usual cleanser because of the great things I've heard about it.

     But the next morning when I had woken up, I had found four very large spots on my face, and two smaller ones that appeared out of no where!

     Unfortunately, I then realized it was the face wash. It was the only new item in my routine.

I have tried other products from Fresh and loved them, so it saddens me to give this item a negative review.

But as stated above many do love this product. This blog post is to simply give a warning about a possible outcome.

(Additional information: I do not have sensitive skin, so that is not likely of why I broke out. Also, I have had similar out comes of trying new products (like redness, bumpy areas) just never this badly.)

Things I'm Loving Currently

     Good hello, I'm so excited Autumn is here! It's personally my favorite time of year. The leaves are changing, its starting to cool down (sweaters! YAY), then the best holidays are going to happen. I can't wait for Thanksgiving, and then before we know it Christmas is going to here.

     Besides the seasons, here are items I am loving.

   This candle smells amazing! I got this at Anthropologie, the scent can really fill a room, without being to over the top. It is a really nice pumpkin smell that doesn't have an odd artificial scent, which I find most pumpkin candles do have. There is also little notes of vanilla and citrus. Its a really nice blend.

  I went to a Charlotte Tilbury counter for the first time, and it was love. Everything the ladies applied on me were so amazing. Everything I tried was such good, minding blowing quality. I couldn't believe it. I picked up the 'Life Changing Lashes', and they are rose gold. Review coming soon.

Also from Charlotte Tilbury, the 'Colour Chameleon' eyeshadow crayon. I purchased the shade Dark Pearl. Dark Pearl is a very pretty dark violet that is very shimmery. I like to apply it by itself all over my lids, or when I'm wearing a different eye look I like to pop it on my bottom lash line to make my brown eyes look a bit more bright.

Lastly from the Charlotte Tilbury counter the 'Lip Cheat Lip Liner' in Pillow Talk. A very pretty, everyday simple pink. It is very long lastly too.

Last item on the list. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. I'm not a fan of the Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and Starbucks brings out the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolates the same time as PSL, so I call this my favorite fall beverage.

ALEXA CHUNG FOR EYEKO. ME AND MY SHADOW IN TAUPE AND CHOCOLATE

A few months back Eyeko created a few new beauty pieces with Alexa Chung. They realease the 'Eye Do' lash enhancing mascara, 'Eye Do' liquid liner, and 'Me and My Shadow' eyeshadow sticks. With the products you could create the signature Alexa Chung look.

Me and My Shadow comes in three very pretty shades, I've purchased two of the three, and they are amazing! The color stays on your lid all day, and you do not need a primer. I myself have oily eyelids, and the only different I've notice with using a primer is that there is a little more color on your lids at the end of the day but its not really that big of a difference. I recommend saving your primer for eyeshadows you actually need it for.

The only problem I have with the eyeshadow sticks is that I do not like the 'brush' built-in at the end. The hair is quite rough and takes off a lot of the product instead of blending. I recommend using your fingers, for a nice smudgey and smokey effect.
